Melting for the Firefighter (Heroes of Whispering Pines)

I never planned to fall for the man who pulled me from the fire.
I definitely never planned to wake up in his bed.

Cora
My flower shop was more than a business.
It was my home. My last piece of my grandma. The only place I ever felt wanted.
Then it burned.
I should be thinking about insurance, repairs, and where I’m going to sleep.
Instead, I’m thinking about Lance Renner.
The firefighter who carried me out of the smoke.
The older, rough, quiet man who brought me home with him.
The man who looks at me like I’m not a burden.
Like I’m his.

Lance
I kept my distance from Cora Larsen for two years.
Not because I didn’t want her.
Because I did.
Too much.
She’s soft, curvy, innocent, and sweet enough to make a ruined man forget why he locked his heart in the first place.
Then her shop catches fire.
I pull her out. I take her home. I put her in my bed.
Now Cora has nowhere to go.
And I have no intention of letting her.

Age gap. Small town romance. Curvy virgin heroine. Firefighter romance. Forced proximity. Protective alpha hero. Damsel in distress. He falls first. No cheating. HEA.
