Blocked Shot (Skate Me Home, 1)

Natalie Mitchell has spent most of her adult life working three jobs and putting her plans on hold to give her younger brother a shot at professional hockey. Now he’s made it—and she has no idea who she is when she’s no longer needed.

Treating herself to one unfairly hot, heavily muscled stranger is Natalie’s first selfish choice in years. But she’s mortified to discover her hookup is the veteran tough guy assigned to mentor her brother.

Jake MacDonald knows exactly how it feels to become expendable. The league’s most ruthless player nears the end of his career, and this assignment is his last chance to prove he’s worth keeping around.

Getting tangled up with his teammate’s fiercely loyal sister could cost him everything, but Jake wants her anyway.

One taste of Natalie isn’t nearly enough.

Natalie refuses to complicate her brother’s new life, even if staying away from Jake is starting to feel like its own form of torture.

Jake is ready to fight for her. But can Natalie choose herself before hockey takes him away for good?

Blocked Shot is a spicy teammate’s-sister hockey romance with an aging tough guy, scorching chemistry, relentless pursuit, and a hard-won happily ever after.
