#Resort Kiss (Lakeview Harbor #5)

A small town, friends to lovers, secret relationship romance from NY Times Best Selling Author Samantha Chase.

Evie and Slater were supposed to be friends.
That was the first mistake.

She wants forever, but he’s always known he’s not built for it.

The last thing Evie Parker expected was for her boss’s best friend to witness her getting spectacularly dumped by a man who barely remembered they were dating in the first place. Desperate to escape her lackluster romantic history, Evie jumps at the chance to spend a month at Lakeview Harbor Resort. A fresh start is just what she needs…especially with Slater—the one person who’s always been easy.

Slater was never supposed to notice Evie. At least not like that. But somewhere between a competitive trivia game and a kiss that definitely didn’t mean anything, he can’t stop thinking about her. Having her at the resort was supposed to be easy. Evie was his friend—the last person who could complicate everything.

One kiss turns into one night and suddenly the lines between friendship and something more are impossibly blurred. They don’t make sense. They don’t fit. But forever might just be possible.
