Silent Watcher (Ravenglass Guardians)

She was sent to record the truth.

Someone has already written it for her.

For twenty years, Anselma Versen has served the Watchers, the Guardians' silent order of observers. She takes a false name, sees everything, and changes nothing.

Her new post is Halborg, a quarry province pacified after six days of unrest. The official report lists three injured and none dead.

Yet soot still stains the scrubbed square. The Watcher she's replacing fell from a window. And his hidden journal reads differently each time she opens it.

Someone has spent twenty years deciding what Anselma sees. To find out who, she must doubt the one thing a Watcher never her own handwriting.

Silent Watcher is a standalone dark fantasy spy le Carré's paranoia in the Ravenglass Universe. Low magic, wyverns and political intrigue. No romance. No spice.
