Palace of Fire: Book One of the Divine Fire Cycle

The Oracle is a creature of great strength and power, brought into being by the Creator himself. They are balance itself: good and evil, life and death. They have been known by many names and taken many forms throughout history, but, contrary to popular belief, the Oracle is no mere foreseer... She is a harbinger of war.

Evelyn Idris is a young woman plagued with visions and glimpses into a future she does not understand. She has been led to believe she is slowly losing her sanity, having spent most of her life as a recluse, and in the thrall of powers she could never have imagined are anything other than the symptoms of an ailing mind.

Upon the return of an old friend, Evelyn is thrown into a world of immortals and corruption, in which good and evil mean nothing, and power is everything. The world as she knew it is about to change, and Evelyn must change with it, whether she likes it or not.

Throw into the mix a grigori vying for her life and her power, a childhood best friend that doesn't know how to take no for an answer, a nephilim with a comforting grin and an unhealthy knack for sarcasm, and a strange warlock with ties to her eternal soul... and perhaps, this world may prove harder to adapt to than before.

Evelyn is a harbinger of war between realms. And now that the Oracle has returned...

War is coming.
