Crossing The Line (Crum University)

Daniella is the star athlete everyone expects to lead Crum University to the Division 1 Track & Field Championships until one slipping grade puts her spot in jeopardy. With everything she’s worked for suddenly on the line, her coach suggests she gets a tutor.

Enter Zion, her new tutor. He’s quiet, shy and her polar opposite. The more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to ignore the connection growing between them. But there’s one problem: he’s also the coach’s son. Dating him means crossing a line she can’t come back from.

As the championships loom closer, she’ll have to decide what matters most, living up to everyone’s expectations, or taking a chance on the one person who finally sees her as more than an athlete.

(Crum University is a fictional HBCU set in North Carolina, and the central setting for the novella series of the same name featuring beautiful Black love, sports, and lots of university shenanigans.)
