The Last Desposyni (The Book of Souls Saga 1)

For seven years, the bloodline of Christ, the Desposyni, has been hunted by the Knights of Hell, Raum and Samael. Their relentless pursuit has left only one Jacob Foster, an ordinary young man whose awakening to his sacred lineage triggers a surge of ancient forces long kept in silence. As Satan’s design intensifies, Jacob is drawn into a conflict of holy bloodlines, supernatural factions, and powers intent on tearing open the gates of Hell. When Jacob’s Valdur, a divine shield forged by the archangel Michael, ignites, the Lamia Society rises. Guided by the archangel Raphael, led by the fierce Aurora, the immortal vampire Alaric James, and the steadfast Miguel, they move to protect Jacob, the Last Desposyni, before the mortal realm fractures.

Across Blackstone Valley, Detective Harrison James, a witch with the rare ability to communicate with the dead and read souls, investigates the violent criminal empire of Dante Cain. His brutality has devastated families and sparked a pursuit for justice that pulls others into the Grace Lopez and her uncle Vito, searching for answers in her father’s murder, and Sage and Scarlet Stone, seeking the man who stole their daughter’s life. Their investigation uncovers a deeper truth. Dante is not simply a predator but a carefully positioned instrument within Satan’s rising scheme.

When both paths converge, mortals and immortals are forced into a single front. Together, they must shield Jacob and confront a darkness that threatens every realm. In a world where angels, witches, vampires, and the Knights of Hell collide, humanity’s future demands resolve, sacrifice, and the courage to face the coming fire.
