Overview
The house has been waiting.

After losing their home to foreclosure, Tory Gaines wants to see the pale-yellow rental on Lochness Lane as a lifeline.
But it doesn’t help that from the moment her family arrives, something feels off.

A Bible and two candles line the stairs as if to welcome them. Soon after, her son begins talking to someone she cannot see. Objects move when her back is turned. And Tory starts losing pieces of time that she can't explain.

Maybe it’s just the overactive imagination of a six-year-old. And maybe Tory is simply exhausted and overwhelmed by the strain of everything they've lost.

But when a neighbor begins whispering about what happened in the house years ago. About a boy who died in the bathtub, Tory begins to wonder whether she is the one coming apart, or whether the house is doing it for her.

And if it is the house, if something really is wrong on Lochness Lane... Where are they supposed to turn when there is nowhere else to go?
