Tiger Bitten (Ambush, #2)

Mars Ledger is a runner. He ran from his brothers when he was Turned into a tiger shifter. He ran from his hometown when his life got too hard. And now all he wants to do is stay hidden in the life he had built outside of the tiger Ambush with his brothers. They made a pact that every year the three Ledger brothers would meet up and keep connected, but it’s time for the reunion and Mars would rather do anything else. His life has fallen apart over the last year, and he has no news to report to his expectant family. But when he can’t stay away from a woman in town, he starts to realize he actually might need their help. Ren is sassy, drop-dead gorgeous, too kind for her own good, and seems too submissive to be a Cat, but he can see it in her bright gold eyes. She’s a monster, just like him. The problem? She’s too interesting to his inner tiger, and now his lust is starting to feel like a hunt. His brothers are the only ones who can protect the woman he wants now.

Ren is living in two different worlds—humans and Cats. She has toed the line for so long that it’s natural for her now, but one chance encounter with a real-life Cat has her questioning everything she knows about herself. He has all the answers she has craved all these years, and the more she understands him, the more she wants to learn. She has a plan to keep Mars interested in her, and if she plays her cards right, he just might stick around long enough to teach her how to be herself. The problem? He keeps warning her that she’s in danger, and when she asks, he just says the danger is him.
