Marked by the Hellhound: Paranormal Instalove Heat/Rut Romance (Halloween Heat)

She touched the glass. Now she's wearing his mark.

The mirror was a simple job. Clean the silver, reseal the back, deliver it Monday, and don't touch the glass with my bare hand.

I touched the glass with my bare hand.

A mark burned itself into my skin, my workshop filled with smoke, and then *he* was standing in it, huge and horned and very pleased with himself, telling me the brand makes me his.

His name is Diesel. I told him that's a truck-stop name. He told me it sounds powerful. It sounds like a Dodge, and I said so, and he marked me anyway.

I can touch an old object and feel the history in it, and I've spent thirty years hiding that and apologizing for it. Diesel says the mark seals in three days, and he won't let me hide for one minute of them.

I should be scared of him. Mostly I'm scared of how much I don't want Monday to come.

Instalove, monster romance, accidental summoning, hidden gift, touch-her-and-die possessive, funny + filthy, Halloween heat, HEA. Standalone.
