Pounced (Were-Soldier Warriors #2)

Deep in the Sub-Saharan jungles, she finds a raw, primal passion that captures her in its unrestrained, animalistic grip.

Marnie Arbinger, a brilliant hematologist, had always found solace in the safety of her sterile laboratory. Now, out on the edge of civilization, life in rural Africa is harder than Marnie imagined.

When an injured man rides into the encampment, her medical training kicks in, but as she dresses his wounds, she realizes that something is amiss about the broad, muscular, insanely attractive stranger.

Something besides the unquenchable fire he ignites within her.

Jax, a powerful tiger shifter, awakens in a medical tent to find that fate has bestowed a gift upon him. The beautiful doctor who treated his battle wounds is his.

He will love, protect, and fiercely defend her with his very life.

As formidable and fearsome an opponent as Jax is, however, there remains one thing that will bring him to his knees. He watches, helpless as a kitten, as his mate is afflicted with the horrifying disease laying claim to the village.

It’s a race against time. Will a cure to the epidemic be found before Marnie becomes another of its casualties?
