Heart of the Abyss (Talisman Series: Part Two #7)

Camela’s days of fighting Darkbrands are over. She has run her course. And the former, pigtailed warrior has come a long way in the decades since she and her friends sealed all the portals to The Void. She’s settled down in a quaint village, raised a couple of rugrats, and traded in her armor for family dinners and laundry loads. But when a strange dragon shows up at her home with an urgent message, the peace she found is sure to be broken. And as threats of darkness stir beneath the surface, her children and an unlikely circle of friends quickly become the only faction of trust in a world completely devoid of it.

Part Two of The Talisman Series takes place 22 years after the events of the first 6 books. The Tyrant King has been defeated, peace has been restored to the races of Earth, and our heroes have scattered into retirement. However, as they say, evil never dies. And soon, the call to protect the realm will be handed to the next generation of heroes. Can a new alliance of hybrid dragons and quirky humans remain united when darkness threatens again? Can the past be forgotten in the hearts of those who fought for freedom years before? Do battle scars ever truly heal, or is the peril of undying evil destined to mark those who wield the Talismans? Saddle up, Synergist Knights, and read along to find out!
