Callous (The Fire Series, #1)

I shouldn’t have slept with Callie Reyes when I was about to use her as currency.

I was going to make her pay for her father’s actions.

I need her to tell me where her father is, but she is clouding my judgement.

Nothing clouds my judgement.

I take what I want, when I want.

Anyone who crosses me won’t live to tell the tale.

Definitely not a Reyes.

But she is like a flickering flame, mesmerizing me with her every move.

My eyes are drawn to the heat, the sparks she vibrates.

I shouldn’t touch, but I can’t help myself.

She is like chasing fire, and I’m bound to get burned.
