Breaking Rules

He is my boyfriend's new teammate and the guy I'm falling for.

When ISABELLA LAWSON’s high school sweetheart, Jake, reappears in her life, she doesn’t hesitate to say yes when he asks her to be his girlfriend. On the surface, the Boston City Warriors’ wide receiver is a catch, but Bella soon realizes he’s not the same guy she dated in high school. What if she made a mistake in choosing to trust him again?

ALEXANDER WALKER’s dream of joining the Warriors and moving back to his hometown has finally come true. He’s determined to prove himself worthy of the QB1 title, and winning the Super Bowl is exactly how he plans to achieve it. Unfortunately, signing the contract also means opening the gates to Xander’s personal hell. From the moment he returns, dark secrets start to surface.

Xander finds a friend in Bella, and he hopes his new teammate, Jake, has changed since college. That hope is extinguished when Bella shows up on his doorstep asking for help.

The longer Xander stays by Bella’s side, the harder it is to keep his distance. He has never been one to follow the rules, and Bella is the fire that lights up his darkness. Playing with fire has never been more attractive, but this time, the flames might burn him.
