Greener Pastures

Andrew is a wrangler at Double R Ranch—an Old West style town for tourists to get the ‘cowboy experience’. He loves the horses, but his boss makes enjoying it difficult. He dreams of doing so much better, but he’s stuck in a rut and doesn’t know how to get out of it.

Lisa loves horses too, but she only passes them on her way to and from work. When she stops to offer them treats one day, she finds herself under the scrutiny of Double R Ranch’s grumpy wrangler.

Fate pushes them together and Lisa’s sunshine personality may be just what Andrew needed. Can Lisa win over his sheltered heart?

A prequel short story in the Harris Twins Series gives a look into the grumpy-sunshine relationship that started it all and brought Twin Springs Ranch into existence.
