The year is 2077, about 45 years ago the world leaders declared a state of emergency for our planet.
The Forever Forests were one initiative that took place to help solve the problem, they planted 2000 worldwide.
The shifter communities saw it as a perfect opportunity to set up home. In return for planting and maintaining the forests, they were offered land to live on.
The Forever Forests can’t be cut down and they are protected by law.
Most of the people that set up the initiative never got a chance to see the benefits,
Around 12 years after the Forests were completed, a deadly virus wiped out over half of the world’s human population. Shifters weren’t affected by it, but it did solidify our reasons to remain in packs.
Gated packs became the norm around the world.
This is a clean shifter romance suitable for all ages.
