The Drifter's Bride (The Flat River Matchmaker, #3)

A woman escaping society's expectations of marriage; a man with nothing to offer, a match that threatens to tear two families apart.

Addison Aland came west to escape the pressure of an arranged marriage. Her family is convinced that once she experiences dirty cowboys, cow patties, and the lack of retail establishments she will hightail it back home to be a high-society wife. What she didn’t count on was Lukas Arkin making her question everything she thought she knew about life and love.

Lukas Arkin has been drifting from town to town for nearly ten years. Tired of wandering he finally returns home to Flat River to find his brother married with a family on the way. When he hires the local matchmaker to help him find a wife, he realizes the one woman he wants is the one he can’t have.

What happens when Lukas falls for Addison? Will he be able to let Addison go when he finds out that Marmee had matched him to another? Can he convince Marmee that Addison should be The Drifter’s Bride? Find out in this small-town historical romance with a touch of faith.
