Marieke and the Rainbow

“Felix Roderick” and “hope” can only be used together in the same sentence if the phrase “does not” is placed in the middle.

Brilliant, brainy, but bleak in outlook, Felix has no interest in optimistic matters. His personal philosophy is that there is no merit or meaning to anything at all. But when he crosses paths with Marieke, a woman who claims to know of a powerful force, his perspective is challenged when he is faced with the stories about the extraordinary—the magic of the rainbow.
