It Bites and Other Inhuman Poems

What do you do with longing, with painful memories, with melancholy? You can describe them, pair them with vivid images, call them different names, and transform them into things of beauty. This is what this collection of poetry does. It is constituted by combined memories of the Philippines, Belgium, and Greece, and speaks to the many dualities of our lives and experiences.

Enjoy a variety of pieces in this book: tanagas, traditional haikus, senryus, non-conventional haibuns, ekphrastic poems, and free verse poetry—works that combine creative uses of language, imagery, reflections, memories, and emotions.
