A mysterious legend, etched upon thousands of square tablets of wax with blazing silver styluses. Its earliest passages were inscribed in the ancient ‘Qyutin’ script, written with the tip of the tongue. A book… lost for centuries. Hidden away with great care in dark, secret places by seers and dreamers. A mythic saga of a distant age, born out of the shadowed myths of a great artistic creation… a wondrous realm of mystical forces and primordial beings, buried somewhere beneath the hushed whispers of dwarfs and giants.

It tells the tale of that astonishing warrior who was the oldest child in the world, and of that strange being whose unparalleled powers rendered him ‘almost immortal’. There was always an urgent insistence that the miraculous history of that tiny race must never be revealed to the world, a race whom even the dwarfs themselves called ‘dwarf’. The world would have remained unaware of this extraordinary chronicle had it not been carved into the walls of caves with chisel and hammer.

Three warriors, transformed through bodily and spiritual alchemy, set out in search of that water which bears no wetness. A malevolent conspiracy, centuries old, first hinted at by a half-young crone, slowly unfolded through the presence of an old man so cunning that even cunning seemed to borrow its craft from him. There was also that scribe, creator of enchanted writings, who left his very soul behind in the dust-laden corridors of books and forgot it there.

Upon that towering, mysterious hill stood a wooden house where a long-buried secret was unveiled, one that had lain hidden within the pages of the Agnishastra. And then emerged the most powerful figure of this tale, who, to safeguard the Agnishastra, stepped out after centuries from the darkest cave in the world.

मोम की हज़ारों चौकोर पट्टियों पर, चांदी की दहकती सलाइयों से उकेरी गई एक रहस्यमय दंतकथा। जिसके शुरूआती हिस्से, जीभ की नोक से लिखी जाने वाली प्राचीन 'क्युटिन' लिपि में लिखे गए। किताब....जो सदियों तक ग़ायब रही। रहस्यदर्शियों और स्वप्नद्रष्टाओं ने जिसे अँधेरी, ख़ुफ़िया जगहों पर हिफ़ाज़त से छिपाकर रखा। एक महान कलाकृति के स्याह मिथकों की पौराणिक युगगाथा....रहस्यवादी ताक़तों और पुरातन प्राणियों का वो करिश्माई जगत, जो बौनों और दानवों की गुप्त फुसफुसाहटों के नीचे कहीं दफ़न था। उस हैरतअंगेज़ जंगबाज़ की दास्तान, जो दुनिया-का-सबसे बुज़ुर्ग-शिशु था और उस अजीब प्राणी की बेमिसाल शक्तियाँ, जो ‘लगभग-अमर’ था। एक तीव्र आग्रह हमेशा ये किया गया कि उस नन्ही प्रजाति का चमत्कारिक-इतिहास, कभी दुनिया को न बताया जाए, ‘बौने’ भी जिन्हें ‘बौना’ कहते हैं..... दुनिया इस विलक्षण दास्तान से अजानी ही रह जाती अगर इसे छेनी-हथौड़ी से गुफा की दीवारों पर न खोदा होता। जिस्मानी और रूहानी-कीमिया से गुज़रे वो तीन योद्धा....जो उस पानी की तलाश में निकले जिसमे 'गीलापन' नहीं होता। शताब्दियों पुराना वो दुष्ट-षड़यन्त्र....जिसका संकेत दिया आधी-जवान बुढिया ने, और सामने आया वो बूढा.....शातिरपन भी जिससे चालाकी उधार लेता था। मायावी लेखनियों का ग्रन्थ रचने वाला वो लिपिकार जो किताबों के धूल भरे गलियारे में अपनी आत्मा ही रखकर भूल गया। आसमान छूती उस रहस्यमय पहाड़ी पर बने काठघर में खुला वो रहस्य जो अग्निशास्त्र के पन्नों में कहीं दबा था। और सामने आया इस दास्तान का सबसे शक्तिशाली किरदार जो अग्निशास्त्र की हिफ़ाज़त के लिए सदियों बाद दुनिया की सबसे अँधेरी गुफा से बाहर निकला....
