The Science of Things We Can Believe

This is a full-length collection of original poetry that interrogates evangelical faith through the lens of Appalachian folklore. The poems lean heavily on both religious myth and the animal world in order to come to terms with the concept of God.

Christen Noel Kauffman's debut full-length poetry collection. Selected by Eduardo C. Corral as the winner of the 2023 Ghost Peach Press Prize in Poetry. Paperback.
